Statement of student Ngwesa: 

On April 15, 2026, I had the opportunity with the students: Dhemaricia, Chantarella, Chavelly, Annifra en Almara to meet youth ambassador Richard Pinas. At first, I didn't quite know what to expect, but that changed quickly when he started talking. He talked about what CARICOM entails, how he represents young people, ensures their voice is heard in important decisions, and how he got started with his work. What struck me the most was how confident and motivated he was, constantly telling us or giving us the push not to underestimate ourselves and to prove "who you are and what you can do." He spoke not only about problems but also about solutions and how young people themselves can make a difference. He also gave examples of projects in which young people were involved. We were given the opportunity to ask questions. Someone asked how you can become a youth ambassador yourself. He explained that it is important to be involved, to dare to show initiative, to prove what you can do and what you have to offer, and not to be afraid to express your opinion. This meeting inspired me to become more active, to use my voice, to follow websites, and also to show a lot of interest in things that Suriname is involved in.

Practitioner for Communication coaching & Counselling institute has been carrying out its tasks since january 2012 and has reached more than 500 girls / young ladies with her program.

Man, in his eyes, was pure at Creation. Due to circumstances and actions that sometimes leave something to be desired, man can experience a lopsided growth. Being practical gives more insight about yourself and it brings understanding about your qualities, talents, skills, values, norms, beliefs, mission and goals. Life can be experienced as pleasant when the choice is made for self-knowledge, personal development, personal leadership, growth and development.
