Op dinsdag 4 maart 2025, is in verband met de Nationale voorleesdag te OS 1 Sunnypoint een voorleesdag georganiseerd. Door tussenkomst van de schrijversgroep '77 Suriname heeft PCCC institute, waaronder mw. Waterberg Elviera (schrijfster) en haar student/ brand ambassador, mej. Neghesty Wijngaarde (fashion designer) een bijdrage geleverd. De kinderen waren blij met de gasten vanuit verschillende beroepen en sectoren. Ook Ex minister Jim Hok heeft een bijdrage geleverd. Mej. Neghesty Wijngaarde heeft voor de kleuters voorgelezen.
Indruk - de kinderen waren blij, onder de indruk en hebben aandacht geschonken aan de activiteit. - aangename communicatie met de leerkrachten. - Fleurige balonnen en spandoek die Welkom heten.
Aanbeveling vaker voorlezen en kinderen stimuleren om te lezen zal hun woordenschat helpen vergroten, wat verder de leesdrang bij het kind zal opwekken en de opkomende schrijvers triggeren (Verborgen talenten)

On Tuesday, March 4, 2025, a reading day was organized in connection with the National Reading Day at OS 1 Sunnypoint. Through the intervention of the writers group '77 Suriname, PCCC institute, including Mrs. Waterberg Elviera (writer) and her student/brand ambassador, Miss Neghesty Wijngaarde (fashion designer), made a contribution. The children were happy with the guests from different professions and sectors. Former minister Jim Hok also made a contribution. Miss Neghesty Wijngaarde read to the toddlers.

Children's Day
Great job of the brand ambassadors: Neghesty, Charmain and Keneshia. PCCC-institute, Elly Nursery Education department visiting the Smurf'n nursery school in connection with children's day.
